I have no room for books, so all my books are on-line.
I am probably not your target market. I am 77, so I get to pick and choose the books I want. The extra goodies for me would not be useful. Where to put it all?
When I was young, I probably would have loved the bonus content. However, I'm old now, recently widowed, and my main task these days is reducing the clutter I've accumulated over these many years.
Just for me, another of your wonderful stories would be more appreciated.
Your books are wonderful and let me practice the 'escapism' I enjoy. Sometimes we all just need a little bit of away time from daily life, and your writing helps me with that. I love that you offer more than just your words, though they are certainly enough on their own! I pick books based on the description and, sometimes even the cover art. I want something well written that makes sense. Several writers I've tried lately don't seem to pay attention to their own work enough to not turn around and say something else concerning their characters than they did in the previous chapters. No editing moxie, for sure! Keep on writing and I'll keep on reading.
I think everyone shared the thought that we don't really have the time or attention to appreciate all the work you would do to present this. Loving your books and thanking you for the substack data is wonderful.
thanks for the shout out! looking forward to meeting your reader group tonight. Thanks so much for inviting me. I think readers like bonus content (if you have the time!) but the next book is what's most important in my opinion.
Thanks for the thought! I enjoy your books!
My only problem would be Living in a beach shack.

There is a bonus scene…a short story in each packet. I think you’d like that!
Yes, there can never be too much story!
That's what I think, too!
Thank you for taking the time to comment. I understand about clutter. It's a never-ending battle for me.

I feel the escapism as I write. Glad to know that it works for you, too.
At some point, I think readers just want us to write the next book. But that's just my opinion.
Yes, I’m delighted that they care so much.

I agree. I’m curious about the results of your questions for your readers.
Got the idea from you. I'll let you know what I hear.
