Sheila, my wise friend! You are so right/write. But I think a lot of people bail on the process because they don't believe in themselves. And because they get stuck and feel overwhelmed. Do you agree?

Terri--you have my interest! "use it"? What is she planning? Why isn't she playing with the other kids? Missing pieces? Hmmm. A fine start. Now...can you create a character sketch of who she is?

I love this! Very nice. I want to know more about this character and the situation she's in.

Sitting alone, watching the other kids swim and horse around. No one spoke. The big motorcycle circled around . Making sure it was noticed. Circled by the 13yr old sitting away from the others. Came to a stop a few feet away. She eyes the bike wondering if she could use it. Try once more to look for the missing pieces of her.

I really love this. What are you doing next with it?

Joanna, this a grand post to encourage people to begin their writing adventure. The words are essential and "Putting your Tushy in the chair!" is also significant. You must be committed to sitting down and experiencing the process! 💙😍 Sheila

Isn’t that the truth? I fear most people talk themselves out of writing. Too bad, as it’s very therapeutic.

I think people talk themselves out of writing because it takes time and organizing your thoughts. Sadly, I think most people do not have the patience and the discipline. Yes, I think it can be very therapeutic, depending on what you are writing. Cheers, Sheila 🤗💙

God. Prayer. Craft.

She didn’t know how she was going to pull it off. Was she crazy to say she would make all these cards? She paused. Closing her eyes she took a deep breath in and slowly let it out. Keeping her eyes shut, she silently prayed. She trusted God. Trusted He would help. She had not long finished her prayer, when she heard her friends say, “Friends to the rescue!”
